כאמור לא עבר זמן רב ועברנו לבית החדש ברחוב האורנים ברמת אפעל, ומאחר והיינו בין המשפחות הראשונות שם, עדין לא היו שום שירותים. לא חנויות, לא בית ספר ואפילו האוטובוס לא ניכנס עדין לשכונה. אולם הייתה אווירה מאד ידידותית ונעימה ,כמו באיזה קיבוץ, אווירה שבמשך הזמן השתנתה מאד עם הופעת דירים חדשים, והפכה לסנובית מידי עבורי. בינתיים יוני כבר חגג את בר-המצווה והלך לתיכון בתל-אביב, ורונית לבית ספר עממי בקרית אונו עד שהוקם בית הספר השכונתי.
Not a long time passed and we shifted to our new home, in Oranim Street in Ramat-Ef`al, since we were one of the first families there, there was a lack of basic services. No shops, no school, and even a bus did not enter the neighbourhood. However, the atmosphere there was very friendly and pleasant, as though on a kibbutz, the atmosphere changed much with the appearance of new residents, and became a little too snobbish for my liking. In this time Yoni celebrated his Bar-Mitzvah, and went to a high school in Tel-Aviv, while Ronit went to her primary school in Kiriyat-Ono, up until the local school was set up.

נטענו עצים ושתילים והגינה הייתה תמיד ירוקה ופורחת. וצבי שגדל בעיר גילה את ההנאה שבגינון והיה מבלה שעות ארוכות בגינה עם הצמחים ועם כלבנו הגדול, נמרוד.
We planted trees plants and our garden was always green and blossoming. For Tzvi, who grew up in the city, he discovered the great joy of gardening, and would spend many hours in the garden and our big German Shepherd, Nimrod.
חיינו זרמו להם בכיף ונהנו לחגוג, לטיל, ולבלות עם בני המשפחה והחברים ברחבי הארץ.
Our life flowed along with much fun, and we enjoyed celebrating, travelling and spending time with family and friends all around the country.
עם שיפור ההכנסות מהמפעל והעליה ברמת החיים, התחלנו לטייל בחו”ל. הנסיעה הראשונה הייתה באנייה מסביב לארצות הים התיכון. עם ביקורים קצרים ביוון, איטליה, צרפת, וספרד. טיול שאפשר לנו לטעום מחו”ל ולרצות ולהמשיך לטייל, מה שעשינו לעיתים קרובות בשנים הבאות עם טיולים לאירופה ולארצות הברית.
As company profits improved, we were able to go on adventures overseas as well. Our first trip cruise was to countries around the Mediterranean. Out itinerary included short visits to Greece, Italy, France and Spain. This trip gave us the travel-bug, and we continued holidaying to different destinations, with trips to Europe and the United States.

במשך כל אותם שנים המשכתי לציר ולפסל כהובי שתמיד טרם לי להרגשת היצירתיות והנאת החיים.
During all those years, I continued to draw and sculpt which as a hobby gave me much joy and an outlet for my creativity.
במשך השנים שיניתי סגנונות וחמרים, צירתי ורשמתי בשמן, באקרילי, ובפחם ופיסלתי בחמר, אבן ,ברזל וברונזה. במהלך השנים גם למדתי וסימתי ב1988 כבוגרת המכללה לציור ופיסול, ברמת גן כתלמידה של האומן הידוע פרדי פביאן. בשנת 1991 הוצב אחד מפסלי בפארק הפסלים צריפין, שליד ראשון-לציון, בארוע גדול עם הרבה אורחים ובני המשפחה.
During these years I changed styles and materials, I drew and sketched with oil, acrylic, and coal, and sculpted with clay, stone, iron and bronze. During these years I also learned graduating the academy of art and sculpture in 1988, in Ramat-Gan, as a student of the well-regarded artist Freddy Fabian. In 1991 one of my sculptures was put up in Tzriphin Sculpture Park, next to Rishon-LeTziyon, in a grand opening ceremony with many guests and family members present.
